The Magpie on the other hand, is an omnivorous opportunist capable of wiping out local populations of Garden Songbirds and Sparrows.
Not ‘eating’ them always but just for killings sake.

For most ‘food’ to eat. Magpies then turn to other resources such as dog litter, takeaway food, any dead animal or human leftovers, etc.

‘The magpie does not depend on songbirds or sparrows for its own survival, as the ‘sparrow’-hawk does but takes advantage of them when it can as magpies – ‘Kill.’

The magpie is a ‘Pest Species.’ – And “Is listed as such.”
“Exempted from any sort of protection.” –

‘Therefore if you have observed a magpie problem in your neighbourhood; It is open to you to take action.’

In good natural habitat the numbers of small birds and sparrowhawks must maintain a balance otherwise the natural system would not persist.
The nature of the balance that is achieved depends on the quality of the habitat.

‘To avoid predation small birds need cover such as hedgerows, bramble, scrub and copses. These are continually under treat in modern landscapes.’

‘In London people have told me of the recent loss of suitable habitat in the parks, particularly Regents Park which has prevented small birds from avoiding their natural predators as well as they used to.’

rnithology: 2000 January. By Andrew Cannon.

‘Magpie’: Latin. Meaning – “An appetite for substances unfit as food. Eating anything.” Perfect reference – For killer magpies.
Magpies rarely ‘eat’ that which they KILL –
Razor sharp beak Razor sharp claws – Weighing little.

MAGPIES: ‘ARE’ JUST A–KILLING MACHINE OF – ALL OF ‘OUR’ – ‘SONGBIRDS And Sparrows.’ This ‘IS’ – Britain 2000…!

Predation ‘killing’ is tragically a major problem for Songbirds in Britain. Throughout the world. Predators such as crows, magpies, falcons, sparrow-hawks, grey-squirrel infestation – All hawks, cats, jays, herring-gulls, red-kites, owls, woodpeckers, rats, fox; Etc.
And – ‘Parakeets’ displace.
‘The list seems endless from photographic proof.’

Blackbirds a true – ‘All-year-round’ Garden Songbird with the greatest of songs. They nest in ivy low hedges bushes. So start planting to help increase their numbers.

Females creamy throat slightly streaked chest brown body who sing quietly.
Males deep black glossy plumage with striking yellow-gold bill and eye ring.

Singing on high like a welcome melodic ‘angel’ in your garden. Superb rich long
high and low phrases of fluting endlessly varied ‘kisses’ and whistles.

They mate for life. They – COULD – ‘Live’ 7+ years. If – “Given Help.”

Re Magpies and Sparrowhawks – ‘Killing!’

Help Blackbirds: Compost. Add old fruit vegtable garden waste to soil pile on ground.

They love to forage for slugs, worms, bugs, beetles, spiders, moths flies eating up ALL ‘our’-creepy crawlies. ‘That we dont want!’
“Cleaning our soil of all trash viruses.”

Need: Berries cherries leave windfall pears apples. Feed mealworms fatty meat chips sausage bacon chicken grapes. “ALL moist and well chopped.”

p.s. For those of you who can’t legally shoot feral cats like I can where I live, then I urge you to join the “SSS Cat Management Program”. SSS = Shoot, Shovel, Shut-Up. It’s legal everywhere in the world and may be the only thing that saves us from this worldwide ecological disaster caused by cat-lovers and the spineless and ignorant lawmakers that support their devastation.

Unquestionably believe that which you’ve said. Your favorite justification seemed to be raptors the easiest factor to bear in mind is I’m definitely getting annoyed with people about these issues that they just don’t want to even know about.

I thought what I saw the other day was a magpie carrying its baby in its beak. I thought how cute. It made me smile. Then today I’ve been told it was actually killing it. I can’t stop thinking about it,its turned my world upside down in a way. I’m so naive!
Is it true? The bird in its mouth was medium size and brown. At first with it being so floppy I thought it was a brown rag maybe for its nest.

Hello Elaine sorry that you had to wake up to realise the flipping facts of what ALL our lost poor Songbirds have been injuring now forever –
Please read all of our pages and comments and to “SPREAD THE WORD” OF THE TRUTH…

    Thanks Indeed –
