British Birds RSPB – Are Doomed ‘Magpies Killing Each Brood!’ Dead – ‘Only’ chick ‘In 3 Years!’

Magpies killing each brood of Blackbird fledglings – Wanda and Wuffy haven’t bred even ‘ONE’ chick this year 2010!’ – AND the Last Two Years…!! By rights when things have gone well they should have had two broods by now of 3-5 chicks each time.
“Very few survive their first winter…” ‘Blackbirds our well-loved – British Garden and Countryside Songbirds.’
View; Your Lost Birds – & RSPB!

Their Numbers: Since 2001 Disgracefully on – Red list of endangered threatened species! 4th June 2010.
2010: BTO – ‘‘Huge falls have been recorded for our now mostly ‘dead’ lost Blackbirds!”

“I’ve witnessed their first nest being raided by one magpie; All their five chicks dead 21st April 2010. I witnessed one juvenile surviving their second breeding attempt, bringing their one cherished chick into my yard for food and safety.”
Feeding him continuously round the clock their vigilance and protection built in never leaving his side.

Yet again, I found the chick dead a few days later. In the roadway run over by a car. Tragically their ‘only’ chick in 3 years dead. Note – ‘I keep photographic proof of all this devastation.’

“We are in dire need of garden birds they eat billions of our slugs bugs grubs insect pests.”

Were obligated to help Songbirds in their plight like the bees. What hope is there and for any future songbirds? ‘My only answer is they are doomed under the RSPB with just reason.’ Extinctions!

Magpie: Latin meaning –   ‘‘An appetite for substances unfit as food. Eating anything. ”
Perfect reference for and to – magpies. But they rarely ‘eat’ that which they – KILL -

They ARE JUST A–KILLING MACHINE Of – Our Songbirds!

Without intervention by all of us that have seen this situation for far too long and for far too many years. Their members and those that do care ALL raise our objections about ‘predation’ of all this killing by predators scavengers to the ‘RSPB’- Nothing will get changed!

Garden Songbirds must be able to breed to have a large brood as their own and their youngster’s life is just so dangerous. ‘Very few are left to survive even their first winter!’

“After the loss of their only chick I rarely see my blackbirds. Sometimes they look into the food shed never staying or stopping to peck at the pile of compost.”

RSPB – UK Garden Birds Doomed! Magpies Killing ‘Each’ Brood – ‘Only’ chick ‘In 3 Years’ – 2010 – Dead!

So decided to give the area a good clean and tidy up as eight huge spider plants hanging off the sheds all these years had died this past winter. Others had flowed down off the roof but were also far too straggly to grow again. But being positive ever more to add to the compost pile to attract some insects, bugs for songbirds; I live in hope.

The leaning yucca was practically falling vertically by now which came from leaving two separate stems to grow too high. By time the smaller one was sawed off the other was already too bent to be propped up, so it’s been moved against the wall to help it last a bit longer and not land on anyone.
End of the day the backyard looked shorn of all its green and brown glory.

‘Though I was so pleased to see Wanda again and have her company.’ She was nearly hidden from view sitting on a low ivy branch and had been perched there nearly all day not moving. I even saw Wuffy the male blackbird attentively trying to approach her a few times slowly moving closer then running back flying to sit on the fire escape.

“I’m not being dramatic but she seems to be unwell to have given up, to be grieving. How do we know? But with my own affinity to them I can judge better than anyone by their actions and different behaviour.” – And over one eye her skin was bare of feathers and she keeps pecking and looking at her claws.

Hair, thread, twine, thrown away string forever hazards on and on can all get entwined, entangled in their claws around their legs. One hair they can peck through but with all other threats at ground level these can end up disabling even killing them.

I’ve seen this when they can’t move their legs because of cotton, etc. One was a juvenile blackbird with cassette tape binding both her claws and legs. I caught her but I was nervous to be touching a live delicate songbird. She moved I let go, she flew to her fate. Our thoughtlessness for anything other than ourselves our fault as usual…

Elbert Hubbard – “Genius may have its limits but human stupidity is not thus capped.

Male summer stunning black head orange breast white belly. Similar shape to chaffinch.
In flight showing long white rump. Gregarious in winter.

Wonderful sweet Bramblings touching song similar to Greenfinch -
Of resounding various pitch.

Deep cupped nest built of entwined moss grass and lined with hair feather wool then decorated with bark lichen.

Help Bramblings: Seeds berries insects.

2010: ‘BTO Alert Issued’ – “Struggling Low Numbers of Breeding Birds.”

Severely Slayed Silenced! Disgraceful Red List – (Of cause)! Brambling Extinct Dead –

RSPB – ? “Who Knows Anything…!”

Cont: Yes do we know their feelings? RSPB doesn’t do anything to save our garden songbirds or cares about the truth of predation.
“Only the grass roots charity Songbird-Survival cares that the truth of predators (killing) impact on bird numbers cannot be ignored dismissed.”

“Proving we have been misled by limited methodologies of previous research.” It must be clear if we want to avoid extinctions of songbirds then something must be done – ‘NOW’ – 2010!

‘Old RSPB (122 years). – “Charities have many vested interests. Keen to keep maintain their advantage careers and cash flow income ideology sentiment are all involved.”

www.Songbird-Survival.org.uk - Show past and ‘recent’ research which alone no other has carried out. The RSPB disproves? “Aren’t we all trying to save what’s left of our Garden Birds?” - Check out the truth of ‘present day’ 2010 garden songbird numbers – ‘Their decline under the RSPB.’

SBS show accredited surveys of songbird numbers killed by predators and scavengers. Recent facts from independent expensive research that this main charity alone disproves, denies and discredits them for. Relying on using only their outdated research figures…

Over many years ago I was in Golden Square off Regent Street for whatever reason. Probably because then Berwick Street Market was a thriving living place for buying lots of fruit and veg.
When I saw a juvenile blackbird (one coping now out on its own) with twine caught around his legs.

‘The square is a large empty space without then even much greenery or anywhere for him to hide and obviously in distress with his legs claws tied up with cotton.’

I tip toed about after him with outstretched jacket ending running about trying to catch him.
But unluckily all to no avail.

At home I phoned the RSPCA who couldn’t help unless – ‘I’d caught the bird.’
And a wildlife charity that put me onto a pigeon fancier who wouldn’t or couldn’t help.

So 7am next morning I was back in the square finding him hidden away behind a pile of rubbish. Prepared with a large raincoat, cardboard box with torn paper inside thinking I stood a good chance. A passing actor waiting for an audition joined me the pair of us with coats outstretched slowly tip toeing around the square after the stumbling juvenile blackbird.

A noise startled him and he flew away! ‘Poor garden Songbird…
“Sadly he
never received any help to survive from any one” – ‘animal charity.’

So very pleased to view and learn from your website, and as a member of the RSPB for many years I, will now rethink my own membership as to ”no songbirds” around where I live in LOndon. Well done and thanks.

In France we have more sparrows and songbirds than Britain. So your argument makes sence that ‘predation’ of so many stronger and bigger threats is the real resaon. As we do keep these larger birds down and do eat them like all our grey squirrels. Please continue and teach the powers that be this real problem,as otherwise you will end up UK with NOTHING. My support goes to you.

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?

Magpies AND CATS! Which in reality, amounts to nothing short of them using biological-warfare against all of nature and all of humanity. Be sure to obey the “shovel” part of the program because all the deadly diseases that Cats and Magpies now carry to all wildlife and humans. Requires that cat-magpie carcasses be removed from the food-chain as safely as you can. Substitute “shovel” with “incinerate”, if you have the means.
