‘Sparrowhawks, grey-squirrels magpies wiped ‘us’ out utterly in central London over 14 years ago, far too many people confirm this from all over Britain.’ Nothing since for anyone to see or hear…

Their help that ‘we’ desperately need just like the many lost bees! Contribute your help and money. While you can before there is nothing left.
For all the good they do for gardens and gardener’s biodiversity re less chemicals etc, we humans need them. PLEASE – Just what can be done?

When are we going to wake up to – Britains top 10 Biggest Charities’ whose main spend is on staff headquarters and, lobbying? This in 2008 according to MP Ian Duncan Smith. The Top Ten Having in Reserve – Review 2008 – £35 billion…!

Julian Hume – Research Fellow At The Natural History Museum – “The Sheer Magnitude Of Bird Extinctions That Have Taken Place Is Shocking.” – Many more recently extinct species await description and a number of critically endangered species will probably disappear in the next decade.

“A Human-Induced Mass Extinction Is Taking Place…”

‘Human greed and thoughtlessness are responsible for the loss of species that could have been saved, and the extinction rate is increasing alarmingly.’

“In the last millennium the impact of humans on the natural world has accelerated out of control at a rate unprecedented in the earths long history.

Before humans evolved on the planet mass extinction events were caused by things like extra-terrestrial impacts, volcanism and changes of climate and sea level.

Now we recognize a new agent of mass destruction – Ourselves.”

Conservation International: – Will Turner –
“When a bird species goes we are all diminished.”

“Organisms are all connected to each other. Lose one species and it can have an effect on many others. When the dodo went it meant that a tree could no longer disperse its seeds.
Take One Piece Out And The Entire System Becomes Less Resistant.
 – Gradual Loss Of Species Can Result In Decreased Resilience And Productivity.

  1. S Broosk. says:

Found a Chiffchaff laying outside patio doors, had crashed into glass, left a few feathers behind. Luckily it recovered and flew off after a few minutes. Folkestone, Kent.
Songbirds-Slaughter.org.uk: So VERY pleased to hear this. ‘But’, like many other knocked down species by cars, glass windows. Etc. Many species own body reaction is by flying, running or for others ‘depending how they have been hit of cause’ – Moving off to (then) die…
Note: Most species bodies do still move for a time after being killed.
PLEASE – ‘The only way to HELP stop Garden Songbirds hitting glass windows’ IS – TO PUT UP BLACK CUT OUTS OF – AND WITH THE OUTLINE OF DIFFERENT SHAPES OF ‘HAWKS’ – PUT THEM UP ON DIFFERENT SIDES OF ALL YOUR WINDOWS.

Songbirds-Slaughter.org.uk: 2013 September 26 – This morning ‘our’ only pair of Blackbirds and the ONLY pair left in the whole area – After their fifth attempt at nesting this year. ALL of their 5 chicks were KILLED Wiped out – “EVER AGAIN ALL THIS ‘AND EVERY YEAR’ BY ‘MAGPIES’…”
WHEN THE RSPB WAKE UP ‘NOT’ TO BE RUNNING THE RSPB AS ‘BIG’ BUSINESSS – BEING THE FRONT RUNNER (of ALL charities). TO ‘just’ MAKE MONEY – HAVING ALWAYS BEEN NUMBER ONE AT LOBBYING GOVERNMENT. Question for what! It cannot be for Songbirds?
WILL MANY PEOPLE (All Their Ex Members) RETURN TO THEM.
OTHERWISE ‘YOU’ AND ALL THEIR PRESENT MEMBERS ARE WASTING THEIR MONEY – TRYING TO SAVE – OUR ‘LOST GARDEN SONGBIRDS.’
